    More Information

Trefor 1 mile. Located on the outskirts of Trefor, a coastal village in Gwynedd, North Wales is Penlon Cottage, a delightful, stone-fronted bungalow. Enveloped by rural countryside, Penlon Cottage offers an escape for a family of six, whilst well-located near the beach, making a wonderful base for both a relaxing and adventure-filled break. Benefit from a private driveway, with enough space for three cars, before heading indoors with your furry companion in tow. Reach the utility, housing a handy washing machine and tumble dryer, where you can also store your outdoor gear. Locate the kitchen/diner, fully-equipped for a self-catered stay, where you can gather to prepare and enjoy meals together. Watch the stars appear overhead from the enclosed patio, also perfect for alfresco dining, before unwinding in the sitting room with the electric fire alight. When sleep calls, select between three well-appointed double bedrooms, all with plenty of storage to make yourself at home. Come morning, opt for a long soak in the corner bath, or a refreshing shower, before making your way into the village, to take advantage of the local amenities; Traeth Trefor is also worth a visit, whilst Caeau Tan y Bwlch North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve lies north, ideal for those who prefer a nature-filled landscape. Follow the coastline around to reach the sweeping terrain of Traeth Nefyn, followed by Clwb Golff Nefyn Golf Club for avid players, or head for Abersoch or Pwllheli for further sea glimpses; be sure to grab a bag of fish and chips to enjoy whilst strolling along the harbour. With many popular villages and towns to discover, including Portmeirion, Aberdaron, and Caernarfon, with Eryri National Park in reach, choose the wonderful base of Penlon Cottage.
