This charming cottage is located in the little hamlet of Trevia, just a stone’s throw away from the market town of Camelford in Cornwall. Leading from the kitchen is the sitting room, warmed by a woodburning stove and elevated with a beamed ceiling, welcoming you to share a lovely evening together over a bottle of wine, or to enjoy the peace and quiet with a good book in the afternoon. From here, climb the stairs to the large mezzanine bedroom, boasting stripped pine floorboards and a vaulted ceiling where you can retire after a long day of exploring Cornwall, offering a king-size bed and plenty of storage for your belongings resting just under the eaves. Back on the ground floor, the bathroom is located in the hallway just off the lounge and features a bath, shower over, basin and WC where you can relax and soak or freshen up, ready for the day ahead. Making your way outside, the stunning garden thrives with shrubs and a selection of plants, adding life to the space while a lovely summerhouse is tucked away․ The garden also benefits from outdoor seating to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining on a balmy summer’s evening. Camelford is an ideal destination for exploring many parts of Cornwall; Brown Willy and Roughtor are the highest points in Cornwall and on a clear day, the view is spectacular and well worth making the short car journey for. Runners, cyclists and walkers should all be sure to visit the famous Camel Trail for a stunning array of paths and tracks to explore, before stopping off at one of the local pubs for a hearty meal such as the Borogh Arms, right on site and serving traditional meals and a carvery. Not to forget the Eden Project, a stunning international charitable organisation providing a truly unique experience anyone can enjoy. Of course, Cornwall is home to some of the most beautiful golden beaches in the UK, why not visit Trebarwith Beach for a day in the sun and light bite from The Strand Café or the Port William Inn, famous for its fresh seafood and relaxed ambience.
