Or take a drive to Chester, the largest and most developed city in Cheshire, where you can marvel at the incredible Chester Cathedral, visit the Roman walls, and the historic Roman Amphitheatre. Of course, there’s always time for a slice of culture too; Chester Racecourse holds an array of events, from music concerts to the summer races and Shrewsbury with it’s contemporary, riverside theatre staging musicals, drama and live concerts.
