As the sun sets, head upstairs to the first-floor bathroom to wash off the day and then retire to your choice of a king-size, double, or twin room with a convenient zip-and-link. If you can bear to leave this picture-perfect location, The Globe Inn and Asquith’s Restaurant in the town of Lostwithiel serve up delectable meals, ideal for when you need a break from the kitchen. Beautiful riverside strolls await you in Lostwithiel, where you can also learn about the region’s past at the museum. If dog walks and bike trails are your thing then check out Cardinham Woods, a mecca for dog walkers and bikers alike.
