A fantastic detached cottage, next to the owner’s home, set in the pretty market town of Builth Wells in Mid Wales. This is a perfect romantic location to enjoy a relaxing break in this beautiful part of Wales. Nicely converted one bed detached house with good outdoor space with great views of the Brecon Mountains. Set over two floors, you walk into the large open plan living/dining area with a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and in the living room boasts a top of the range projection TV using a 60 inch screen covering the wall of the large open plan living room. Upstairs, there is a lovely double bedroom with a balcony area with seating, perfect for the early morning breakfast with terrific views of the Brecon Beacons. Outside you can sit in the spacious decking area, or relax in the hot tub, overlooking the Welsh mountains, ideal for any time of the day. With the town sitting on the beautiful meandering River Wye, pleasant days can be spent by the riverside. The area offers numerous outdoor activities such as wildlife birdwatching opportunities, with fabulous walking and cycling trails to follow. You are ideally placed to explore the former spa town of Llandrindod Wells, a perfect centre for cycling, also there are 13+ annual events including the Royal Welsh Show, Winter Festival, Spring Festival. Riverside activities such as including kayaking or canoeing are also available. You are a 40 minute drive from the edge of the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), opening up a myriad of days out, or why not head towards the literary ‘Town of Books’ at Hay-on-Wye? Drive a similar distance north into the beautiful Cambrian Mountains and visit the majestic Victorian Dams and peaceful reservoirs of the Elan Valley enabling you to marvel at the fabulous wildlife. A perfect countryside retreat in an ideal location that can be enjoyed at any time of year.
