    More Information

A lovely, modern detached brick bungalow, in the small village of Seaton, near Hornsea seaside town. Surrounded by open fields, this very spacious property is perfectly placed for enjoying a family holiday near to the sea, but in a peaceful setting. With all ground floor accommodation, there are four attractively decorated bedrooms, two with en-suites and all with quality beds and mattresses. The generous-sized, airy sitting room offers comfortable seating and large windows throwing in plenty of light, while French doors open onto the garden. Additionally there is a south-facing sun room, a wonderful spot to sit and relax with a book, with the sun streaming in. There is a separate kitchen with a convenient breakfast bar and a family dining table, a sociable space in which to chat and linger over a family meal. Tastefully furnished throughout to a good standard, this charming property is sure to please. Outside is a large, enclosed lawned garden, safe for children and our four legged friends to play, along with a useful bike shed. It’s just a few minutes walk to the local pub, and the nearest shop is less than a mile away. Hornsea has much to entertain the family, with long sandy beaches, pretty floral gardens and a traditional promenade. Nearby, Hornsea Mere offers the chance for watersports or, for a bit of retail therapy, Hornsea Freeport is the place to go! The surrounding area offers many attractions, including the historic market towns of Beverley, Driffield and Market Weighton. Enjoy exhilarating cliff-top walks at Flamborough, or visit the Bempton Nature Reserve to see wonderful displays of nesting sea birds, including puffins in the summer months. With stately homes such as Burton Constable Hall, Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall close by, there is something for all the family. For a rainy day, an hours drive to The Deep Submarium on the Humber Estuary will be a big hit for all the family, or head off into the wonderful rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, where Hockney took his inspiration from for his famous paintings. With easy cycling and walking opportunities nearby, it provides an excellent base for a wonderful holiday.
