This delightful, detached stone cottage, sits in the small village of Hinderwell, nine miles north up the coast from Whitby. Situated in the North York Moors National Park, it is well-placed for walking, cycling and traditional seaside holidays. Accessed by a garden gate to French doors at the side of the property, you step into the spacious open plan living area that has been thoughtfully presented to a high standard. Port Mulgrave beach is just a few minutes’ walk, with its fossils and rock pooling, whilst the picturesque fishing village of Runswick Bay is one mile away and offers a sandy cove, just perfect for building sand castles and paddling in the sea. Take a bracing cliff-top walk on the Cleveland Way with superb coastal views, or explore the nearby seaside town of Whitby, steeped in history with its narrow, cobbled streets, interesting shops and famous abbey. On the edge of the North York Moors, this inviting and homely cottage makes an ideal base for a memorable family holiday.
