This lovely stone barn conversion is situated next to the owners’ 17th century farmhouse, on their working arable farm, high up on Matlock Moor, just two miles north of the beautiful spa town of Matlock. Tastefully furnished, this cosy cottage is ideal for walkers, as trails run right through the farm and past the doorstep, and those who take their walk following a small white ball around will feel chipper knowing that the prestigious Matlock Golf Club is just 130 yards away. The sitting room with dining area has wooden flooring and is a sociable place to enjoy a meal and to snuggle up on the big squishy sofa in front of the woodburner-effect stove. Step through to the well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, where you will find everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece, or fuel up in preparation for the many and varied adventurous days the area has to offer.
