    More Information

Riverside House is a stylish holiday home, set on the outskirts of the popular seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Perfect for a gathering of family or friends, this spacious property has everything you need for a self-catering break, while being within easy reach of Scarborough’s attractions and beach, and North Yorkshire’s many attractive towns and villages. Off-road parking greets you on arrival, before stepping into an open-plan living space, where you can dine at the table for 10, unwind in front of the woodburning stove, or simply admire the views from the bright and airy snug area. When hunger strikes, the kitchen has everything you need to whip up a family dinner, including an American-style fridge/freezer and a handy dishwasher. Making your way through the property, a door leads out to a convenient ground-floor shower room, perfect after a day at the beach. From here, the garage/games room can provide you with your evening entertainment; why not unleash your competitive side with a game of pool or table tennis? After a fun-filled day, climb the stairs to the first floor where five bedrooms lie; three king-size and two twins, each with storage for your belongings, and a tasteful décor invite you to rest your eyes. Finishing off the interior of Riverside House is a bathroom with a gorgeous freestanding bath to soak in, along with another shower room so there is plenty of room to get ready for a day out. Externally, the multilevel garden leaves little to be desired with furniture for dining alfresco, a lawn for games, and ample space to savour the warmer months. The coastal town of Scarborough is bursting with things to do, all year around; avid golfers may want to spend an afternoon at Scarborough North Cliff Golf Club, animal lovers may want to explore the SEA LIFE centre, and walkers of your group can wander the Cleveland Way path. In the heart of the town, you can also find an array of pubs and eateries for the nights you just don’t feel like cooking, as well as a variety of beaches and fish and chip shops for a quintessential seaside break. Follow the coastline up to the iconic town of Whitby, known for its dramatic abbey, gorgeous architecture, and the famous 199 steps. Further afield, venture into the city of York for more shopping and dining options, or to the North York Moors National Park for walking and cycling in abundance. Bring your loved ones to Riverside House for a break you’ll remember for years to come.
