Great Tew 1.7 miles. A lovely terraced barn conversion ideally located in the pretty village of Little Tew near Great Tew, and just a short drive from the ancient market town of Chipping Norton. This delightful cottage is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of the country. The enclosed front garden leads to the cottage which offers an open plan living area complete with well-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a warming woodburning stove. Make your way upstairs to two comfortable bedrooms and shower room. Outside is a front garden ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the area, either with a good book or enjoying alfresco dining with friends. Great Tew, often described as one of the prettiest villages in England is full of attractive thatched cottages and has an excellent pub and a village shop. The bustling town of Chipping Norton offers many unique shops and real ale pubs as well as art galleries and a theatre, and many enjoyable walks start in the town with Shakespeare’s Way passing through the centre. Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all close by or alternatively, take a trip to the riverside town of Banbury, Blenheim Palace or the university city of Oxford. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick with its magnificent castle, also make great family days out. A lovely cottage to be enjoyed all year round.
