Outside is a front garden ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the area, either with a good book or enjoying alfresco dining with friends. Great Tew, often described as one of the prettiest villages in England is full of attractive thatched cottages and has an excellent pub and a village shop. The bustling town of Chipping Norton offers many unique shops and real ale pubs as well as art galleries and a theatre, and many enjoyable walks start in the town with Shakespeare’s Way passing through the centre. Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all close by or alternatively, take a trip to the riverside town of Banbury, Blenheim Palace or the university city of Oxford. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick with its magnificent castle, also make great family days out. A lovely cottage to be enjoyed all year round.
