Tucked discreetly behind a tall beech tree hedge on Docking's popular high street, Rosehill House, is a lovely sunny detached house set in a quiet location. Under new ownership from 2023, the house has been sympathetically upgraded and now provides guests with spacious, comfortable accommodation, complemented by muted, calming interiors to create a relaxing, home-from-home holiday hideaway just three miles inland from North Norfolk's glorious coastline. Rosehill is a handsome, double fronted late Georgian house of traditional brick, chalk and flint construction and sits in large fully enclosed gardens that offer privacy, space and safety for little ones and dogs. On entering the house from the front door, you are welcomed into a charming sitting room, featuring bi-fold doors that open to extend the room into the garden when the days are long and warm. For cooler months, there's a wood burning stove to keep you extra cosy as the nights draw in. The dining room next door is a delight and perfect for gathering together, sharing some local food and wine, or just simply enjoying casual breakfasts, snacks and brunch. The modern kitchen at the back of the house is fully fitted and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Just beyond the kitchen, off an inner hallway, is a separate utility room with laundry facilities and, at the far end, a shower room is situated. Upstairs on the first floor are the three bedrooms; a king-size bedroom, a super-king bedroom, that can be set up as twin beds if preferred and, lastly, a double bedroom. In between two of the bedrooms nestles a small office/study room, perfect if a member of the party needs to work or study. The family bathroom completes the scene, hosting both a bath and separate shower cubicle, meaning all preferences are catered for. Docking is very well placed for getting out and about; for accessing the stunning coast, the many picturesque inland villages, heritage houses, and attractions further afield. There is so much to see, do and enjoy here – you are sure to want to return. Rosehill House offers an ideal base for families, couples and friends, all year round. Additional Information: Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Pillows and duvets are synthetic fibre. Travel cot and high chair available (please request at point of booking).
