Next to the shower room is the good size bedroom with king size bed. The bedroom is carpeted, has ample drawer and hanging space with hairdryer provided.
Kitchen / Living Space
A reasonably steep, carpeted staircase with handrail leads up to the open plan living and kitchen space with dual aspect windows and attractive beamed ceiling. Beautiful exposed, original stonework has been subtly re-introduced to the decoration throughout. Comfy easy seating with television, dining table and chairs plus well equipped kitchen completes the accommodation layout. Kitchen appliances include electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave.

Rowan Cottage is one of a delightful pair of charming, semi-detached “brother and sister” cottages, set within the grounds of the owners’ home. Located in the picturesque village of Lanreath near Looe, this beautifully presented property sleeps two and offers wonderfully comfortable accommodation a perfect retreat for a peaceful getaway.
In the heart of the village, you’ll be greeted by friendly locals who warmly encourage you to explore their fantastic amenities, including the community-run local store and the lively Tipsy Cow Pub, known for quiz nights and entertainment evenings. Adding to the village’s charm, the long-awaited reopening of The Punchbowl Inn has taken place this historic pub (Est. 1620) has been lovingly refurbished and serves delicious food and drink in a welcoming setting.
The stunning beaches of Lansallos, Talland Bay, and Lantic Bay are all less than six miles away, making it easy to enjoy the breathtaking Cornish coastline.
Rowan Cottage and Rowan Retreat (890) share the same arrival day, making them an ideal choice if two couples wish to enjoy a holiday together while still having the privacy of their own space.
Each property comes with its own parking space, outdoor area, and garden furniture perfect for relaxing and soaking up the fresh air.
Rowan Cottage has its own pretty garden to the front with table and chairs. In addition, guests staying in both properties are invited to use the top garden with lovely views and seating. (Please note that guests staying at Rowan Retreat will need to access this garden via the garden in front of Rowan Cottage).

The bustling town of Looe is divided by the ever-changing river that separates quieter West Looe from the absorbing waterfront of East Looe, with its diversity of shops, restaurants and pubs, Banjo pier and sandy beach.
The pace and routine of life in Looe follows the ebb and flow of the tide and the movement of boats returning with their catch of fresh fish. Local boatman can ferry visitors to and from either quay, or alternatively, you can enjoy a pleasant cruise along the beautiful and rugged coastline, keeping an eye out for the schools of dolphins that can often be spotted in the bay.
A guided tour will draw you deeper into the labyrinth of ancient buildings, clustered together in the narrow streets and courtyards that make up the old town of East Looe. Visit the 16th century Old Guildhall museum with its interesting exhibits detailing the town's diverse history, or relax and just while away the hours on the wonderful sandy beach, separated from the river mouth by the Banjo Pier.
The South East Cornish coastline is dotted with lovely beaches, hidden coves, and pretty seaside villages to explore. You can also join the magnificent South West Coast Path to enjoy bracing cliff top walks with spectacular views.
For a different kind of day out, the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary is just outside Looe, providing vital refuge for primates in need, and a fascinating family activity whilst supporting a great cause.
