    More Information

A ground floor open plan conversion of a detached stone-built barn located in the grounds of the owner’s barn just outside of Giggleswick on the outskirts of Settle, just over a mile from the town centre. Set amongst beautiful rolling countryside with views in most directions this is a lovely holiday home to get away from it all and enjoy Dales life at its best. Lovingly restored, Rushton Barn has been individually styled and furnished to provide top quality accommodation in a superb location. Guests entering the accommodation will be met with a stylish kitchen/diner providing a great place to prepare sumptuous meals after an exhausting day out exploring the many footpaths and bridleways of this beautiful area. From the kitchen, the small and cosy sitting room boasts a stone fire surround with a woodburning stove, ideal to curl up, open a bottle of your favourite tipple and simply relax. The views from the sitting room across the attached meadow where a small herd sheep graze often provides an interesting spectacle. The main bedroom boasts a double bed with a Harrison mattress, and a modern en-suite shower room with power shower. Outside there is a small lawned area and a patio to sit out and enjoy dining alfresco. Guests will love the surrounding countryside, the Settle to Carlisle railway line running close by and the opportunity to watch the sheep grazing in the adjoining field. With a host of scenic walks from the doorstep, enjoy quiet strolls through meadow lands, down quiet country lanes and for the more experienced, there is of course the famous Three Peaks challenge. A little further down the valley, Skipton, host to the 2014 Tour De France, offers a great day out with its Norman castle, canal trips and award-winning high street. Stylish throughout and put together with great love and affection this is a holiday home not to be missed. Note: This property can be booked with the upper floor.
