Jump in the car and head down the coast for a scenic drive to towns such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Scarborough, Filey and Ravenscar, all worth a visit in their own right. Family attractions within easy reach of Whitby include Flamingo Land, the National Railway Museum, York Minster, Monk Farm Visitor Centre and Sea Life Scarborough.
