Salty Cottage is within walking distance of the great surfing beach at Stanbury Mouth cove (rocky path down to beach, not for the faint-hearted) and the Coast Path, as well as Cornwall’s highest cliffs. The Tamara Way, a 87 miles coast to coast walking route, pass near Salty Cottage, The starting point of this amazing nature filled track is located in Morwenstow, around 1 mile away from the cottage. It’s a short drive to the sand surf beaches and lively pubs, restaurants and bars in the lovely seaside town of Bude. A fantastic place to relax, unwind, find great surfing coves or just walk to the pub by footpath – remember to take a torch.
