Close by there are miles of sandy beaches to explore and further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, Towns worth a visit include the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and the farming hamlet of Howick which is known for being the birthplace of Earl Grey tea.
