This semi-detached cottage is linked with the owner’s farmhouse in the small village of Sawdon, close to both Scarborough and Pickering. Be welcomed by a lovely hallway, this divides off into a country cottage kitchen with its very own range cooker and homely fittings. Sawdon has a pub called The Anvil, and walks can be enjoyed from the village. Close by is Brompton-by-Sawdon, which is a delightful country village on the edge of the Forge Valley, an area of outstanding countryside. This wonderfully scenic location, with its stone-built cottages is ideally placed for discovering the attractions, and the entire location is somewhat of a walker’s heaven.
