A five minute walk brings you to the town centre, where there is a variety of tea rooms, 12 pubs and bars and independent shops, whilst a ten minute walk brings you to the seafront. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade with its brightly coloured beach huts, ornamental gardens and cafés or build sandcastles on the wonderful, long sandy beach, where you can walk for miles. Your local shop and pub is only a seven minute walk away and there are many activities for the family to be getting involved with, from pony rides on the beach to crazy golf. If you fancy an exciting cliff walk and to do a bit of bird spotting, Flamborough Head and Bempton RSPB Reserve is well worth a visit to see the puffins and kittiwakes both nearby.
