Seaport Lodge is tucked away in a quiet corner in the hamlet of Trenance on the edge of the village, the house backs onto farmland yet there are sparkling sea views from almost all of the rooms. This stone-built bungalow is spacious and ideal for a family or a group of friends. The living room has a 52 inch Samsung Smart TV and wood burning stove plus comfortable sofas to enjoy the sea views. The kitchen is well equipped and has a dining area perfect for sitting around and planning the next day’s adventure. Four bedrooms with one en-suite plus a family bathroom and a utility room. The garden consists of sweeping lawns and sun decks and if the beach hasn’t worn them out then there is a children’s play area complete with swings and slide (please note children should be supervised). It is a 10 minute walk down hill to Mawgan Porth sandy beach, although longer coming back. Surrounded by cliffs there is always a sheltered spot amongst the rock pools, caves and soft white sand of this lesser known north coast beach. Voted in the Guardian’s 50 best European beaches it is has a relaxed vibe and is perfect for little ones. Lifeguarded from April to September there is a good beach hire shop and surf school. There is also a pub/restaurant, cafe, a beach shop and a farm shop just above the beach. Seaport Lodge is within easy reach of other north coast beaches and many scenic attractions that Cornwall has to offer a perfect holiday destination.
