The sitting room is light and airy, with soft furnishings, a corner sofa, and a warm glow carried from the electric stove, and table lamps. The modernised kitchen boasts a whitewashed effect, neighboured by a vibrant dining room which will uplift your mood, morning or evening. Comprising wonderful bedrooms, you have plenty of choice when it comes to relaxing, including zip/link options, and two accompanied by en-suite shower rooms. Each bedroom reflects its own personality with a bold feature wall, character ceilings, and accessories to reflect the calming colour scheme. There is a family bathroom and cloakroom presented to a hotel standard, adding to the quality effect of this luxury accommodation. Any holiday to Grasmere needs to include The Grasmere Gingerbread shop, where the Wilson family have been making gingerbread for over 60 years. Also in the village are a number of shops, pubs, a church which dates back to the 13th century and Grasmere Lake, plus Grasmere Sports takes place every August, where you can watch participants compete in a variety of sports. Just five miles away is the town of Ambleside and Lake Winderemere where you will discover shops, pubs, restaurants and the 17th century Bridge House.
