The nearby town of Harlech is a must-see, with its castle perched atop a rocky outcrop, and its historic port, or perhaps venture to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Caernarfon with its magnificent castle and historic town walls. There’s something for everyone to explore in this part of Gwynedd, with the national park within driving distance, filled with lofty peaks and beautiful landscapes, worth exploring no matter the weather.
