Snowdon View is a well-presented, semi-detached stone cottage, enjoying a quiet location in an elevated position down one of the oldest hills, known as Y Llech in the town of Harlech. The cosy double bedroom enjoys the same fantastic views as the sitting room while the second bedroom, with a bunk bed, is ideal for children. The raised decked balcony is just perfect for alfresco dining or simply a wonderful tranquil place to sit and relax after a long day walking on the mountains or day on the beach. Steps lead down to a lower garden area which is grassed and is great for children to have a kick about. The end of the garden offers a picnic dining area and additional seating from where you can admire Harlech Castle a mere breath away, plus there’s a sheltered area under the decking providing storage for bikes, kayaks and canoes – access to be arranged with property owner.Walks are in abundance from this delightful cottage and a visit to the Harlech Castle and visitors’ centre is a must. Harlech offers a good selection of independent shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, along with a magnificent sandy beach and just over a mile away is the famous Royal St. David’s Golf Club, one of the finest links courses. Barmouth, Porthmadog, and the world-famous Italianate village and gardens of Portmeirion are all within easy access. This superb cottage provides an excellent Snowdonia base.
