Talking of night time, when it’s time for bed choose from four bedrooms including a ground-floor super-king-size and three first-floor super-king-sizes. All are light and spacious and offer a calming sanctuary after a tiring day of exploring and with four bedrooms, there is no need to worry about a queue for the bathroom. South View is in a fantastic location for getting out and about exploring with Seahouses and Bamburgh both close by and a whole host of country and coastal walks, hikes and cycles literally on the doorstep. Bamburgh has a good selection of shops and amenities as well as a hugely impressive castle. Head off from here and carry on along the Heritage Coastline where you will find miles of sandy beaches, quaint fishing villages and breath-takingly beautiful castles. Other towns worth visiting in the region include Alnwick, Alnmouth and Embleton and you can even head to the border and visit the ever-popular town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Activities to look forward to in the area include golf, sailing (from Seahouses to the Farne Islands), birdwatching, hiking, cycle rides and horse-riding.
