This beautiful cottage is set in a wonderful Cotswolds location, a couple of miles from the market town of Stroud in Slad, the home of Laurie Lee and the setting for his novel “Cider with Rosie”.Spring Cottage is a stand-alone part of a historic 17th Century Inn which is full of history, and sits conveniently on the Laurie Lee trail, only a short walk from the famous Woolpack Inn. Head to the Jolly Nice award-winning farm shop and choose from a great selection of local produce or visit the renowned Saturday Farmers Market in Stroud for it’s produce, street food and cafes. Take a stroll through the stunning commons of Minchinhampton, Rodborough or Selsley with elevated views across the Five Valleys. Head to Coaley Peak or down the River Severn for a picnic and elevated views, or visit the National Trust property of Woodchester Park for a little history.
