Town centre with array of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs is a short walk away too. Cross the town bridge and take a walk along the Old Harbour, watch yachts and fishing boats passing by.
If you will explore Weymouth and will want more adventures, you may wish to explore rugged Isle of Portland. The island is perfect for birdwatching, exploring the quarries now butterfly reserves, Tout Quarry Sculpture park. The Portland Bill lighthouse with massive Pulpit Rock is very popular attraction and has two pubs nearby open all days in summer months, but you may need to check opening times in winter.
