Cricklade is a great base for your holiday in Wiltshire with plenty of bars and restaurants just a stone’s throw away, such as The Cricklade Club, Tipi Tapa at The Vale, and Jicsaw Thai Restaurant, but if you prefer cooking at home, you can stock up at the convenience store. Bring your bikes and walking boots to explore the Thames Path National Trail passing through the town. As the southern gateway to the Cotswolds, walkers and wildlife lovers will find their paradise here; Cleveland Lakes Nature Reserve and Cotswold Country Park & Beach are both nearby for walking, swimming, watersports, and escaping the hustle and bustle. Take a short drive to Cirencester to discover Roman remains at Corinium Museum, Cirencester Amphitheatre, and stroll around Abbey Grounds Park. The Cotswolds are scattered with idyllic walks, gardens, picturesque villages, and historic sites such as Rodmarton Manor.
