Start each morning with a brisk shower before moving to the garden, taking a seat at the furniture a coffee whilst planning for the day ahead. The village of Brookhouse offers plenty of scenery, delightful buildings as well as a village pub, shop and takeaway. Further amenities can be found four miles away in the village of Hornby, where you will find two pubs, a tearoom and a shop. Whilst here, you will find a number of scenic walking routes, as well as the River Wenning which joins the River Lune. For days out, the city of Lancaster offers plenty of sightseeing and shopping facilities as well as Lancaster Castle with tours events and a cafe, or venture slightly further afield to the coastline where you come across Morecambe Bay and the famous resort town of Blackpool.
