A charming, semi-detached, whitewashed cottage, close to the centre of the pretty village of Glyn Ceiriog in the Ceirog Valley, North Wales. This 300 year-old cottage enjoys a warm, cosy sitting room with an open fire and a social, well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and an electric stove. Outside this Glyn Ceiriog cottage is a lovely sheltered front garden, ideal for relaxing in the morning sun with a coffee and a newspaper from the nearby local shop. To the rear, steps lead up to an elevated, decked platform set against a woodland backdrop, with views across the rooftops of the valley. Set in the North Wales countryside with all the amenities of Glyn Ceiriog right on the doorstep, this pretty cottage makes an ideal touring base. This fantastic location offers superb walks and there is the chance to rent mountain bikes from the local sports centre, or enjoy a pony trek from local stables.
