The Annex at Ryefield Lodge is a pleasant single-storey house in the village of Scholes near Holmfirth, in West Yorkshire. Take in the serene village setting before pulling into the private driveway as the electric gates open for you. The exterior is welcoming with potted plants outside, creating a calming ambience. Shed your coats and shoes in the hallway to settle in. Store any treats in the freezer in the dining room, then head to the kitchen to store fresh produce in the fridge and crank up the heat on the gas hob. Once the delicious aromas of your home-made meal fill the air, set the table for four guests, as you tuck in and discuss the adventures ahead. Once plates are cleared, pop them in the dishwasher, then sink into one of the armchairs or the sofa in the sitting room.
