Just a 2 minute stroll across the lane is the charming Coppleridge Inn, a well-regarded country pub which offers delicious food and lovely grounds and views, as well as further tennis courts and a children’s play area. The Apple Shed is a wonderful base to stay and to explore from.In addition to the many local walks, Cranborne Chase AONB and the renowned National Trust property Stourhead are only a short drive away.Stonehenge, Longleat, The Fleet Air Arm Museum and The Haynes Motor Museum are approximately 30 mins.The chalk figure of the Cerne Abbas Giant, Glastonbury and National Trust property Montacute House are 50 mins. Further afield, the New Forest, Brownsea Island and the Jurassic Coastline are within reach for wonderful day trips at a little over an hour. Racing at Wincanton is approximately 25 mins.
