    More Information

This former hotel is in the village of Burton Agnes, set between Bridlington and Driffield and offers lovely accommodation for large parties. The Blue Bell strikes all the right notes and is a perfect venue for that special day as the central room with its feature glass atrium roof seats up to 100 guests. The bedrooms are split across three areas with eleven in the main house, four set around a courtyard, three duplex apartments and a bunk room. All the bedrooms are en-suite with the majority offering super king-size beds which can be changed to create twin rooms. The master suite is a spacious indulgence with two bathrooms, whilst there is a family duplex room which can sleep up to fourteen. There is a large kitchen, perfect for a chef to create mouth-watering meals and there is a pub on-site which really provides all your needs under one stunning roof and the hot tub adds the icing on the cake. The Blue Bell is a wonderful choice for family gatherings as the central room doubles up as a games room and dining room with standard seating for 40 guests. There are two sitting rooms, one of which is known as the snug as it has an open fire where you can sit, raise your glasses and toast the occasion. In the village, Burton Agnes Hall is a magnificent Elizabethan mansion and well worthy of a visit to both the house and gardens. Walkers and cyclists, history and culture buffs, beach and seascape seekers are all catered for here. The stunning Yorkshire Coast is a mere 6 miles away offering sandy beaches and towering majestic cliffs full of seabirds and the Yorkshire Wolds is a rolling landscape dotted with pretty villages. The lovely market town of Beverley is under 20 miles away and offers a wealth of things to do, there are independent boutiques and shops within charming courtyards and cobbled streets. The Georgian Quarter is architecturally fascinating with many listed buildings including the 15th century North Bar and at the heart of the town is the Gothic cathedral of Beverley Minster. Beverley Racecourse is set in the stunning surroundings of The Westwood which has beautiful common grounds with good walks and views of the town. The Blue Bell is all there ready for you and all you have to do is provide the occasion!
