Explore the surrounding areas, and you will find Tintagel Castle, with links to King Arthur. This castle offers impressive views of landscapes with cliffs and beaches just below. If the tide is out, you will find Merlin’s Cave, with a mystical and magical atmosphere. Bodmin Jail Attraction is another great place to explore. This museum has cells to wander through and fascinating facts to learn, but be alert, as some paranormal activity was reported in the past. The Royal Cornwall Show is another great option; it is an agricultural show with vintage cars, flower shows, and local treats to indulge in. Pentire Point is a stunning coastal walk where you can spot other attractions, such as Tintagel Castle. There are beaches nearby with surfers; this is a great place to enjoy the tranquillity of nature. If you are hungry from all of the exploring, visit The Mariners Public House in Rock. It is highly recommended by visitors in the area, with stunning estuary views and fresh oysters to try. Further afield is the charming, seaside town of Padstow with plenty of things to do!
