Be immediately charmed by the interior of the property, upon entering you are greeted by the rustic kitchen diner with wooden beams, an exposed stone wall and flagstone flooring, this well-equipped area is full of character. Across the hallway sits the cosy sitting room, it offers comfortable leather sofas and a TV. Head up the traditional staircase which brings you to the first floor with an original beam.The bedrooms consist of a double and a set of bunk beds, and the property is topped off with a shower room. Spend the sunny days out in the lovely patio garden, with a range of seating, sit here and enjoy a refreshing drink. Alternatively, there is a children’s play area and access to the owners 2 acres of garden waiting to be explored. A 1/4 of a mile away in Deanscales Village, is a fantastic family run pub which serves lovely home cooked meals, and is perfect for families and also accepts dogs. The bustling market town of Cockermouth, just three 3 miles away is a great base with a wide range of shops and pubs for you to visit. The area is famous for it’s beautiful scenery as well as it’s walking at Derwent Lake, Bassenthwaite Lake and Ennerdale Water. Take a trip into the heart of the Lake District, here you will find a series of wonderful towns and villages such as Keswick, with quirky shops and inns as well as some incredible scenery to be admired.
