The Cottage is set in the owner’s grounds in the village of Brent Knoll in Somerset. Dating back to the 1800’s, this inviting cottage has been thoughtfully-restored to welcome two guests for a splendid break in this quaint corner of Somerset. Upon arrival, enter through the electric gates to The Cottage. Step through the front door into the living room and enjoy the nature of this period property, complete with flagstone flooring and a tasteful, woodburning stove, set in an inglenook fireplace. All facilities are close to hand, including the refurbished kitchen with a stable door out to the secluded garden. Climb the wooden staircase to the large characterful bedroom, containing a sumptuous king-size bed, a zip/link that can offer the flexibility of twin beds on request. Outside, you have a delightful, well-planted garden with seating at both the front and rear. A hundred yards down the road, you will find the Red Cow, where you can enjoy a selection of local ales and ciders, whilst good food is also served at both lunch and dinner times everyday, however, pre-booking is heavily recommended due to the pub’s popularity. A small, but well-stocked community shop is half a mile away, whilst a Co-Op store is located slightly further afield in Berrow. Also within easy walking distance in Brent Street is the West Croft Cider Farm. Make sure you see John for some local Somerset farm cider! At The Cottage you can escape!
