More information

Located in a unique waterside conservation area with panoramic views over Looe and the estuary, this superb bespoke apartment offers the ultimate in luxury, with the highest quality fittings and furnishings and underfloor heating throughout. You arrive at Creekside in West Looe and go through the private gated entrance before taking the stairs to the second floor and entering into the splendid, spacious open plan living area. Lounge around on the cosy sofas and gaze across the boatyard over the estuary towards Looe town, a favourite holiday destination since Victorian times. There are two beautifully furnished bedrooms here, a king-size double and a room with zip/link beds offering the option of a king-size double or a twin. Outside, a large shed is ideal for storing bikes and boards. A short stroll over the seven arched historic Victorian bridge will take you into East Looe with a maze of narrow streets, shops, cafes and pubs leading to the main beach. Over the years the town has retained its small fishing fleet, returning daily to offload their catch and ensuring the most fresh fish to supply the excellent restaurants. No wonder a local fish and chip shop was named the best in the country, as they source their fish from the boats coming in and out of the harbour. Walking through West Looe and around to Hannafore is an easy walk, where children will delight in the rock pools on the beach opposite historic Looe Island. On the way back, be sure to call into the Jolly Sailor, established in 1516; it is one of the oldest inns in the country, and ideal for a refreshment stop. With good beaches on both sides of the river and so much to see and do in the area, a stay in this superb apartment offers excellent accommodation in a wonderful location, at any time of the year.
