Pretty stone built barn conversion under two miles from Holsworthy. The owners’ live in a neighbouring property and there is a sister cottage The Post House which sleeps a further four. Feature stone walls and oak flooring this is perfect for families with its spacious rooms and lovely views, it provides that much needed relaxation time. Downstairs there is an open plan lounge and dining area offering comfortable leather sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a handy breakfast bar with stools. A gorgeous bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom is ideal if grandparents want to come along too. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a family bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed garden equipped with garden furniture, patio and lawn areas and barbecue. A shared field area is available for play. Situated close to the market town of Holsworthy, the area has an abundance of rolling fields, hidden valleys and is within easy reach of the outstanding Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. For sun worshipers, the safe, sandy beaches of Bude and Widemouth are within easy driving distance and for the more energetic, the Tarka Trail is popular for walkers and cyclists. There are several country pub/restaurants nearby, offering local produce meals or for that special indulgence, treat yourself to a wonderful Devon Cream Tea. The Croft is an ideal base whether you are looking for a countryside break or if you wish to do some sightseeing around Devon and Cornwall.
