The property offers a great base from which to explore the vibrant village of Coniston, the majesty of Coniston Water as well as the wider Lake District. A tranquil setting with a gorgeous garden, awe-inspiring views of the surrounding fells and Coniston Water itself. There are great walks straight from the doorstep including the close by shores of Coniston Water and a host of local inns and local eateries, including the famous Drunken Duck Inn. This area is popular amongst cyclists and mountain bikers due to its access to Grizedale Forest, just a few hundred yards from the cottage.
Attractive old oak beams and flagged floors blend seamlessly with lavish furnishings and the welcoming wood burner, as well as an open fire, create a great ambiance for social gatherings or special occasions.
