Valley 3.8 miles. Resting in the charming village of Rhoscolyn at the southern end of the idyllic Holy Island in North Wales, is this charming semi-detached cottage, The Granary. Providing attractive accommodation within a delightful barn conversion setting, this property lies within beautiful countryside and is just a stone’s throw from the coast. Enter into the hallway of this stylish and calmly decorated abode, with rich wood floors to greet you as you take off your boots after a walk. Discover a sumptuous corner sofa in pale blue, with local art and prints decorating the walls and a Smart TV to entertain you. A country-style kitchen awaits when you’re feeling peckish with a quaint wooden dining table and chairs, creating a homely atmosphere, with a host of appliances to assist you in all your culinary endeavours, including an electric oven and an induction hob. Notice the painted beams above you echoing the building’s history, with the ground floor also home to a bathroom with neat white tiles bath with a shower over. Find an excellent setup upstairs for two couples, with two beautiful king-size bedrooms the first enjoying a mustard and beige colour scheme, with a TV and an en-suite bathroom, whilst the second is adorned with shades of blue with far-reaching country views out of the window. Rhoscolyn’s glorious beach, Borth Wen, is one of the most admired in the whole of Anglesey, this idyllic, sandy crescent is backed by dunes and has a plethora of rock pools to discover, with some beach-side amenities for you to use, as well as a host of watersports available to make your day even more exciting! Just at the top of the road to the beach is the fabulous White Eagle gastro-pub, renowned for its delicious dishes such as Welsh lamb and Menai moule frites, you will benefit from booking a table here and indulging in a fabulous evening out. Further north on the Holy Island is Trearddur Bay, another wonderful beach, while golfers will enjoy the excellent course at Holyhead Golf Club nearby, delighting in the surrounding scenery while you play. Holyhead can offer shops for picking up all you need for your self-catered stay, as well as independent businesses for some unique souvenirs, cafés and restaurants too. The Granary will be a homely and welcoming base suited to two couples or a young family on a Holy Island adventure.

This property is in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and at the end of the garden there starts a Special Protection Area for Birds(SPA) that stretches down towards the coast. We take that responsibility very seriously. For the benefit of the local flora and fauna we have also asked our gardeners (who attend the property every 14 days) to stop using any hazardous pesticides or weed killer. As a result there may be some moderate wild plant growth between the gardeners’ visits (in spring and summer months). Hopefully it won’t impact your enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings.
