Sudbury 5.4 miles. In a quiet, rural village location on the Essex/Suffolk border this beautifully converted Granary sits in the grounds of the owners home. The Granary has been sympathetically converted from a 300 year old listed barn, into a modern, comfortable holiday property. Internally it has a wonderful open-plan living space with the a fully fitted kitchen, housing all the appliances you could possibly need for a weekend away in the countryside. The dining area is a cosy space where you can dine together as a family, or plan the day’s events. Gather together in the sitting area and enjoy the views over the extensive grounds. There is a ground floor twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a spacious first floor double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over. Outside there is an enclosed private patio area with seating an ideal spot to sit and enjoy a morning coffee while planning some of the many things to do in the area. The outdoor space includes a wonderful pond for wildlife and is a perfect spot for watching the sun going down. The area is wonderful for exploring and ideal for those more sporty types. Cyclists can enjoy a network of quiet roads linking pretty, historic villages such as Lavenham, Long Melford, Dedham Vale, Flatford (Constable Country) and Bury St Edmunds to name a few. There is so much to visit in the area with the popular historic market town of Sudbury close by where visitors can enjoy an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants when they visit. There is also a number of places of interest with Gainsborough’s Museum, Kentwell Hall and the stunning National Trust Property, Ickworth House easily accessible. This beautiful barn conversion is ideal for friends and families looking for a get away with plenty of exploring to do locally.
