Combs 1.7 miles. This delightful semi-detached cottage, converted from an old hayloft, is situated next to the owners’ farmhouse, close to the village of Combs and 8 miles from Buxton. Beautifully appointed throughout to provide spacious accommodation, this cottage is perfect for couples or small families who wish to enjoy a touch of luxury in this pretty part of the Peak District. All on the first floor, you will find outstanding views of Combs Reservoir and the surrounding Derbyshire hills. The cottage oozes character with wooden floors and open stonework throughout. There are two comfortable bedrooms, both benefiting from en-suite facilities and TV. The sitting area offers stylish comfortable seating for all and boasts a lovely woodburning stove, ideal for relaxing in front of after a long day of walking. Outside, 50 yards from the cottage there is an enclosed, lawned area with patio. The villages of Chapel-en-le-Frith and Whaley Bridge are within easy reach, or visit the Chestnut Centre Conservation & Wildlife Park, the National Trust owned Lyme Park, and Buxton with its historic buildings and Opera House. The whole of the Peak District is just waiting to be discovered from this wonderful cosy cottage.
