4 miles from Colyton, deep in thick, lush hedgerow lanes in the Coly Valley, is the sleepy hamlet of Northleigh, 5 to 7 miles from the lovely coastal villages of Beer, Sidmouth and Branscombe. On the edge of Northleigh, three cottages converted from traditional Devon barns on a small mixed farm raising beef, free range poultry and a few piglets.
