    More Information

The Little Coach House is one of two fabulous holiday cottages set within the tranquil grounds of Tyddyn Mawr House nestled in the beautiful Welsh countryside near Porthmadog. There is 14 acres of land to explore, including well-maintained gardens, with seating areas tucked around every corner, and a delightful summer house stocked with library books and DVDs.

The bright and airy open planned living space optimises the ground floor of the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you could need with a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge / freezer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.

There is a dining table for up to four people and a comfortable seating area with a TV, DVD player and electric fire.

There is a ground floor loo with hand basin.

The gorgeous ensuite double bedroom has a king size bed, TV with built in DVD player and attached dressing room with built in wardrobes and dressing table. The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, loo, towel radiator and hand basin.

Outside there is a private and enclosed paved seating area. You can also explore the 14 acres of shared grounds which includes attractive gardens, a summer house, a lake for wild swimming or fishing and farmed fields.

The Little Coach House is a wonderfully romantic cottage, with ample space and a private courtyard garden. The cosy, comfortable furnishings, bold French pieces and a traditional dressing room give this cottage a real touch of luxury. You could easily spend a holiday here without ever needing to leave the grounds, but if a day’s exploration is on the cards you have the historic town of Criccieth with its castle and beaches, the shops and heritage railway of Porthmadog and the Snowdonia National Park all just a short drive away.

If you need a little extra space, The Honey Pot is also available in the grounds sleeping a further four.

Please note that there are live stock in the fields so dogs must be kept on leads in specific areas.
