Park-up in the off-road space on the cliff top, payable in cash directly before accessing your new home via a lift, please note the lift is available between 10am – 10pm and access will be via the stairs outside of these times. Be greeted by a delightful, enclosed patio where you can dine alfresco with a sea view or play a game of fetch with your canine companion. Step into the kitchen/diner, where you can whip up tasty meals ready to enjoy at the dining table for two over a celebratory bottle of fizz. After dinner, head through to the bedroom where you can relax on the sofa and select your favourite film from the TV as the evening’s entertainment. After a day of enjoying the delights of the beach and local area, freshen up with a hot shower, before climbing into the sumptuous double bed to catch your rest ahead of another adventure-filled day. Marsden Beach is right on your doorstep, with its golden sands and calm waters, it is the perfect place to bathe with your favourite book, build sandcastles with the little ones or paddle the waters. Make the most of the famed and historic Marsden Grotto, which adjoins your home. It’s recognised for its iconic lift shaft and delicious seafood-heavy menu. Nearby, the National Cycle Route 1 is ideal for keen cyclists; alternatively, the nearby Marsden Old Hall Quarry Local Nature Reserve and The Whitburn Golf Club are great options for nature and golf lovers. Whilst you’re exploring, don’t miss the historic Souter Lighthouse and The Leas, a National Trust property dating back to the 19th-century and the first electric lighthouse. If you’re looking for something a little less touristy than a stroll down the seafront, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to choose from in the town of South Shields. Jarrow Hall, a museum housed within an Anglo-Saxon monastery, is a must-see for history buffs in the area. There are a variety of things to see and do in Sunderland, including the iconic Stadium of Light, the Sunderland Empire Theatre, and Mowbray Park. If you venture further, you’ll find the lively city of Newcastle, home to attractions including Newcastle Castle, Tyne Theatre and Opera House, and the Victoria Tunnel Tours and Great North Museum.
