More information

Behind the owner’s farmhouse a mile from Plymtree is this single storey cottage converted from an old dairy. Comfortable and cosy, it is friendly accommodation for small families or couples. Head up the five little ramped steps into your open plan living space with snug seating area with TV, dining area and well equipped kitchen for preparing meals. The two bedrooms are both welcoming spaces to relax after walking the surrounding footpaths or visiting the coast. As well as a pretty shared courtyard, you have your own enclosed garden with a picnic table and barbecue for alfresco meals whilst soaking up the countryside views, as well as a fun summer house for children to play in, equipped with games and books, and an open sided games barn with table tennis and table football. Dogs kept strictly on leads on the grounds of the property due to livestock. There is good village pub to settle down in at the end of the day. With the M5 within easy reach, there is good access for touring Devon, especially around the old towns of Honiton and Cullompton. Exeter is a fine cathedral city to explore and the coast around Sidmouth and Lyme Regis is lovely. The Milk Shed is a charming base for discovering the delights of Devon. The owner lives nearby and runs a B&B in her house which is open year-round.
