Outside is a front gravelled area, to catch the last of the sun’s rays when you return home from a busy day. Vintage railway enthusiasts will be thrilled to discover that the restored Swanage Railway line is set to the front of this Dorset holiday cottage, with little steam engines puffing past each hour. Why not hop on one from nearby Harman’s Cross, Swanage or Corfe Castle to enjoy a nostalgic trip? The Purbeck Hills offer some of the most scenic walks in Dorset, and there are marked footpaths direct from the doorstep. No trip would be complete without a day at the Victorian seaside town of Swanage, with its beautiful bay and beach offering watersports, as well as a wealth of restaurants, shops and inns. Alternatively, roam along the striking South West Coast Path to discover unforgettable sights.
