Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy exploring Cardinham Woods, offering excellent walking opportunities deep into the woods and an activity trail for the younger ones. Head into the town of Fowey and you will have plenty to see and do – visit the aquarium, museum and St Catherine’s Castle, or explore a host of gardens and stately homes, offering something for everyone. Sandy beaches await at Readymoney Cove to the south or Polkerris and Par Sands are firm favourites. The picturesque Lerryn with it’s pub, stepping stones and picnic area is a worthy visit. The Old Chapel is a lovely base with plenty to occupy your time.
