The Jurassic Coast is at Seaton for a fulfilling day of beach activities as well as some scenic rides on the tramway. Lyme Regis is always a popular option with more sun-kissed beaches, the aquarium for some crazy sea creatures or the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum. Exeter is slightly further afield for a trip out. It has the sumptuous Riverside Valley and Ludwell Valley for some tranquil strolls before a picnic with some birdwatching.
