Sleeping four guests across two en-suite bedrooms, this beautifully renovated former mill is a wonderful choice for families, friends, or two couples seeking a rural Shropshire escape with riverside scenery all around. Step through the front door into a generous hallway, where hardwood flooring sets a smart tone, and there is space to shrug off coats and boots after countryside walks. A cloakroom sits close by for added convenience before the home opens into a bright kitchen, dining, and sitting area. The kitchen is neatly arranged around a central island, with everything needed for relaxed self-catering, while the dining table seats four for sociable breakfasts and evening meals. After supper, light the woodburning stove and gather in the sitting area for a film on the Smart TV, or open the patio doors to the decking and let the country air drift in. Outside, the enclosed decked area has furniture and a barbecue, creating a lovely spot for alfresco dining, with the owner’s farmland, and the River Meese forming a memorable backdrop.
