This opens up a peaceful paced walk as it winds itself through the striking countryside of Mid Wales, and introduces the industrial heritage of the area with the World Heritage Site of Big Pit Museum and local iron works. You are ideally placed to explore the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) with its abundance of walking, cycling and pony trekking, or you can explore the thriving market town of Abergavenny, renowned for its local produce or perhaps take the opportunity to visit some renowned restaurants for a romantic meal, with restaurants, including ones with Michelin Stars being a short drive away.
