Entrance
The cottage is approached by a flight of 20 railed steps that lead up from the private parking area below to a small lawn which fronts the cottage and a stable door which opens first to an entrance porch with an inner glazed door leading to a slate flagged hallway.
Kitchen
At the end of the hall, there is an attractive stone-floored, modern fitted kitchen with a large picture window to one side and a view over the harbour on the other. Kitchen appliances include a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave and a washer/dryer.
Living Room
Two steps lead down from the hall into a beamed sitting/dining room which has a feature stone-built fireplace with wood burner, television and a wide panoramic window which overlooks the garden and harbour below.
Bathroom
A bathroom W.C. with low beams, hand basin and shower over the L-shaped bath.
Bedrooms
Also off the landing are two pretty cottage-style bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king-size bed with a beamed ceiling and fine views of the harbour and the cliffs beyond, the other smaller beamed bedroom has a double bed and a little low window facing the river.

A traditional character cottage with uninterrupted harbour views at the seaward end of an attractive row of three, set on rising ground overlooking the Valency river.
The Valency river tumbles into the picturesque National Trust harbour about 300 yards away. Just opposite this great property you will find the famous Witches musuem and Harbour Light cafe.
Boscastle offers a selection of lovely little shops and cafes plus the Riverside restaurant with its super terraced garden. The historic Cobweb Inn which can date back to the 1700's and the Wellington pub (a former coaching inn which dates back to the 16th century), provide a great choice between two rather special licenced premises.
On the way out of Boscastle (heading north on the B3263), you will find the rather splendid Boscastle Farm Shop. This fabulous shop has a cafe serving the very best local ingredients on its menu including an awesome selection of delicious home-made quiches and roast meats.
Just 3 miles away is the beautiful, St Nectan's Glen and Waterfalls, with cafe and woodland walk. The perfect place to visit if you have a couple of hours to spare.
Set in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty with splendid walks through Valency Valley, the coastal footpath is close at hand, and the beaches of Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are approximately 7 miles away respectively. Tintagel, with its King Arthur legends, is 3 miles and the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac is a 30-minute drive and the setting to Doc Martin and the home of the Fisherman's Friends.
A low-walled garden has two small lawns, flower beds and a large terrace which has wooden garden furniture, perfect for al fresco dining, but young children will require supervision.

Set in a steep, narrow ravine between Tintagel and Crackington Haven in North Cornwall, little has changed here over the years and Boscastle remains beautifully unspoilt. Pretty stone houses with wonky rooftops and white-washed cottages cling to the banks of the River Valency as it winds down to a sheltered natural harbour and medieval stone quay.

From here, you can walk all the way to Tintagel, with a well-deserved break at Bossiney Cove, whilst being treated to spectacular scenery and never-ending sea views.
You can also follow in the footsteps of famous novelist Thomas Hardy by walking through the wooded valley to St Juliot’s church. Hardy worked as an architect during the renovation of the church, when he met, and fell in love, with his wife Emma. Unsurprisingly, the romance inspired many of his most famous novels and poems.
From Boscatle, you can enjoy some of Cornwall’s most magical days out. Visit the dramatic cliff top ruins of Tintagel Castle, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, and marvel at the 60ft waterfall of St Nectan’s Glen. Watch surfers riding the huge Atlantic waves at Trebarwith Strand, or don a wetsuit and join a lesson with Trebarwith Surf School to give it a go yourself. To top it all off, grab a bottle of wine and some reusable cups and follow the coast path to the impressive geological peephole, the Lady’s Window, then sit down and watch the sunset – it’s sure to be the highlight of your Boscastle holiday.
